Authors must consider 'Aims and Scope' of the journal carefully before submitting their research articles. There is no restriction on the length of the papers, except for Editorial articles that should not exceed 2000 words. Electronic files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure (conference slides, video sequences, software, etc), which cannot be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material. Accepted papers will be published immediately and authors can distribute an unlimited number of e-reprints via e-mail free of charge. Authors are kindly asked to prepare and submit manuscripts according the following instructions;

Corresponding Author (CA)
Corresponding author (CA) is the responsible person for electronically submitting a manuscript for publication consideration. CA must provide complete mailing addresses and e-mail addresses for all the contributing authors. The CA will be identified as such in the published article.

Preparing manuscript for submission
Submitted manuscripts must be original, present sufficient intellectual depth, written in a clear, concise and unambiguous language and sufficiently rigorous. The information must be relevant to the research question being asked and interesting. Finally, the conclusions drawn by the authors must be reasonable and supportable. Contributors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals. All manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript, for example Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions, Artwork and Tables with Captions. Use System International (SI) measurements only. If other units are mentioned, please give their equivalent in SI. Use non-proprietary (i.e. generic) drug names, unless the specific trade name of a drug is directly relevant to the discussion. Avoid unnecessary abbreviations. Single-space the text throughout. This includes the title page, abstract, text, acknowledgments, references, tables and figure legends.
On the title page DO NOT include the names and affiliations of authors. Authors' full address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address must be provided during submission process by corresponding author. In addition to full title, a short title not more than 60 characters is appreciated. Include a structured abstract of no more than 250 words. A list of three to five keywords must be given, and placed after the Abstract.
Acknowledgements should be given in a separate section at the end of the article, before 'Conflict of Interest and References. List here those individuals who provided help during the research. DO NOT include Acknowledgements on the title page.
Declaration on conflict of interest should be provided in the manuscript by the authors. If the authors have no conflict of interest to declare, they must also state this in the manuscript. Please include such a declaration at the end of your manuscript after any Acknowledgements and before References, under the heading 'Conflict of Interest'. If no conflict exists, please state that 'Conflict of Interest: Declared None’. Also list Funding sources (if there is any) under the heading ‘Funding’, after Conflict of Interest and before the References.
For experimental investigations of human or animal subjects, state the corresponding research project code of ethics in the Methods section to commit that an appropriate institutional review board approved the project and the appropriate ethical standards are being considered. For investigations of human subjects, state the manner in which informed consent was obtained in the Methods section.

Referencing format
Number the references in the order that they appear in the text of the manuscript. When listing references, follow the uniform requirements style (the Vancouver style) that is based largely on an ANSI standard style adapted by the NLM for its databases (e.g., MEDLINE). Reference numbers should be placed in square brackets [ ] throughout the text, and placed before the punctuation; for example [4], [2, 3] or [1-3], and all the references should be listed separately and as the last section at the end of the manuscript.

Tables
Please submit tables as editable text and not as images. Tables should be inserted into the main text, and numbers and titles must be supplied for all tables. Include legends for all tables. The legends should be prepared as a separate paragraph of the main text and placed in the main text before a table. All table columns should have an explanatory heading. Tables should present new information rather than duplicating what is in the text. Readers should be able to interpret the table without reference to the text. All tables should be numbered in the order of their citation in the text.

Figures and illustrations
Authors are encouraged to prepare figures and schemes in color. Figures should be high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for color, at the correct size). Figures should be saved as TIFF, PEG, PostScript or EPS files. Do not supply files that are optimized for screen use (e.g., GIF, BMP, PICT, WPG); the resolution is too low. Also, do not supply files that are too low in resolution. We recommend that you send your image files already in the size you wish them to be published.  Do not submit graphics that are disproportionately large for the content. All figures should be numbered in the order of their citation in the text. Include legends for all figures, schemes and illustrations. The legends should be prepared as a separate paragraph of the main text and placed in the main text after a figure, scheme or an illustration. Full color graphics will be published free of charge. Conference slides, video sequences, software, etc., can be included and published as supplementary material.

Submission
Submission to IJPT proceeds totally online and you are guide stepwise through the process of entering your article details and uploading your files. A single PDF file of the manuscript without the names and affiliations of the authors are required to be used in the peer-review process. Also, editable files (e.g., Word, LaTeX) are required to typeset your article for final publication. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, is sent by e-mail.

Open access agreement
Submission of an article is considered as an indication of author agreement to open access terms. It means that the authors retain the sole copyright of their work while allowing others to download, print out, archive, distribute, and use the work in a non-commercial way. The user of the information should acknowledge the author of the original work.

Corrections and Additions
Responsibility for the accuracy of content lies with the author(s) of the paper. NO corrections or updates to an article after publishing will be accepted.
